Description from student participant: This program was great. It allowed me to explore the UC campus, their state-of-the-art facilities, as well as connect with people and learn more about biomedical topics and issues. The work we did was the same work that college students do. We learned lots of basic lab techniques and a lot about infectious disease and had numerous professional lectures from people in the field of veterinary med, human med, disease prevention, etc.
Where is the program: This program happens at all UC's that have the program, but I did the one specifically at UC Davis.
Length: 3-5 weeks
