NAME OF PROGRAM: Sports Industry Academy
SHORT SUMMARY OF PROGRAM: The Sports Industry Academy Summer Program will provide an introduction to the $400 + Billion Sports Industry to mature andhighly talented high school students from across the country. Prominent sports executives will guide Scholars on the inner-workings of the sports industry.
In addition to learning about the business of sports, Scholars will be provided with an introduction to the academic environment of U.C. Santa Barbara. Scholars will receive an exclusive and comprehensive daylong workshop by a Senior Admissions Counselor on how to navigate the university admissions process, including keys on writing a “winning” personal statement.
